Eastvantage at 9 Years in Business
We had a BLAST last October 4 as we celebrated our 9th year in business! We officially opened our new floor, introduced our Go Green Initiative and had unlimited takoyaki too!
The celebration was conducted during the Eastvantage Assembly, more popularly known among EV associates as EVA. A ribbon-cutting on the 24th floor of Fort Legend Tower, BGC kick-started the whole program. It is the official launch of the third floor that Eastvantage is occupying in the building; it was attended by tenured employees celebrating their 5th to 8th year with Eastvantage.
Once the new floor was opened, everyone was invited to the cozy social hall and was serenaded by Unit 11, a homegrown EV band composed of software engineers. EVA program then commenced with a quick review of the past year conducted by Kamal, our COO. Kamal discussed how we grew in just one year -- the number of new clients, the meaningful jobs created, the SLAs achieved and the internal promotions. It was indeed a great year!
Our Chief Zen Officer, Joeri, then took over with the introduction of our Go Green Initiative. He discussed how we can have a positive impact in the environment as a company, and simple ways on how we can start the initiative -- carpooling and biking to work, avoiding plastic and single-use items, and waste segregation.
The program continued with company updates, career opportunities that employees may endorse to their friends, and of course rewards and recognition. We have presented completion certificates to associates who attended the Leadership Toolkit, awarded 26 top performers and recognized 35 associates who celebrated being with Eastvantage for more than 5 years.
And of course, it is not a celebration if there's no food. We ended the gathering with takoyaki, sushis, and makis. To EVeryone, happy anniversary to us and cheers to more meaningful years ahead.
