The Philippines’ premier tech job portal, ICTjob.ph partners with industry leaders to address the IT talent gap in the country.
Last May 23, the media round table panel was led by ICTjob.ph CEO & Founder Fred Tshidimba and Customer Success Manager Gauthier Troxquet. They were joined by other esteemed leaders from the IT industry — talent expert and former Executive Director for Talent Development for the IT & Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) Penny Bongato, president of the Philippine Software Industry (PSIA) and IBPAP Board of Trustee, and CEO of Spring Valley Tech, Jonathan de Luzuriaga, and IT expert Jomari Mercado. Together, they shed light to the lack of IT talents despite the abundance of graduates and tech jobs in the country.
In the recent years, the IT industry has been one of the main drivers of the economy’s growth and the briefing reiterated the IT job portal’s vision to address the talent gap situation through linking the best tech talent to the best tech companies — even those outside of NCR business districts.
ICTjob.ph Founder and CEO Fred Tshidimba shares, “It is crucial today more than ever for companies to explore new ways to find, acquire and retain employees with the right set of skills not only to boost competitiveness but also to enable companies to cushion themselves from IT talent acquisition challenges and the impending talent shortage. At ICTjob.ph, we provide the platform to streamline the employee-employer matchmaking process and help build linkages for our partners through the industry connections that we have established over the years.”
ICTjob.ph has recently relaunched its website to make it more user-friendly for both tech recruiters and job seekers.
