The personal data that we collect includes, but is not limited to, name, mailing address, birthday, marital status, contact details (including phone number and email address). For job applicants we also collect the applicant’s CV, which includes educational background, employment history and work experiences. For our employees we also collect government issued identifiers such as, but not limited to, the social security number, the TIN  number, PAG-IBIG number, and PhilHealth number.

 3.       For which purposes and how do we use collected personal data?


Eastvantage processes personal data only when necessary for specific purposes or required by law.


These are examples of where we use personal data:

  • During job application, we handle personal information of applicants

  • We handle personal data of our staff and associates for employment related matters

  • In order to provide an excellent user experience and to improve our services, we handle personal information of some of our customers

When people reach out to us regarding future commercial relations, we may handle the personal information of those that reached out to us if they sent us such information. We will only process personal information provided to us for the purpose and in the context for which the information was provided. We will seek your prior consent to the extent that such content is mandatory under applicable laws. We will never use personal data for purposes that are incompatible with the purposes of which you have been informed, unless when required or authorized by law.

 We may need to share personal information with third parties, such as service providers or Eastvantage affiliates located in other countries. As such, those countries may not have the same level of protection of personal information as the country in which your data was initially collected. However, Eastvantage takes it upon itself to apply the same level of protection to the data being transferred as is described in this policy statement.

Knowing that your personal information is important to you, Eastvantage is committed to protecting your privacy. Therefore, we keep this information confidential,  and surround it with the utmost security. Furthermore, we will make sure that we only process your information based on the purpose and consent you provided to us.

Eastvantage invests in information security systems that are robust and at par with industry standards. Our information network and computer assets are resilient, and protected by physical and logical access layers. A management system to keep security updates current is in place.

Eastvantage staff is regularly briefed and trained about the importance of data security practices. We have a dedicated full time data protection officer. Data security and data privacy are being discussed at every level of the organization and follow the regular meeting rhythm in place for all our business topics.


6.       How will we store your personal data?

 Eastvantage retains your personal data only as long as necessary. As such, personal information that has been collected will be deleted according to the following criteria:


  • We retain your data only as long as we have an ongoing business relationship with you.

  • We will only keep the data while your account is active and as long as we provide services to you.

  • We will keep your personal data only as long as you are connected as an employee of this company, and for the time after that as required by law (at least 5 years).

  • We retain your personal data as necessary in order to comply with our legal obligations.
